Sarah Firth recognised: Notable Australian Graphic Novel

Posted

We are thrilled and delighted to learn that the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) have recognised Sarah Firth’s Eventually Everything Connects: Eight Essays on Uncertainty in their Notable Australian Graphic Novels of 2023 Longlist!

From the ALIA website – “The list recognises the best graphic novels by Australian creators selected by the ALIA Graphic Novels and Comics team.”

Sarah Firth’s debut and delicious mix of daily life, science, philosophy, pop culture, daydreams and irreverent humour, Eventually Everything Connects has been recognised in the Adult Category.

The selection is twofold; in recognising and celebrating the talent among the Australian comics and graphic novel scene, but also for the ALIA selection to come highly recommended for libraries and their collections.

We congratulate Sarah Firth and her publisher, Nakkiah Lui’s JOAN imprint of Allen & Unwin.

The Notable Australian Graphic Novels Shortlist will be published at the end of March.
