'Love & Autism' out now

Heartiest of congratulations to author Kay Kerr, whose nonfiction debut – Love & Autism – is out now with PanMacmillan!

This one is very special not only because the subject and purpose of the book is one of utmost love & generosity, as per the blurb; ‘Through the intimate writing of critically-acclaimed autistic author Kay Kerr, LOVE & AUTISM presents an uplifting celebration of neurodivergent love, the search for it and a deeper look into the lives of autistic Australians.’

… but also because this is joyous evidence that putting yourself out there, and writing with your whole heart on your sleeve can bring more people into your orbit who are empowered by your stories and feel seen because of them. When the unique is actually universal.

That’s been Kay Kerr for these last few years, writing gorgeous #LoveOzYA own-voices books like Please Don’t Hug Me and Social Queue about neurodiverse young people navigating family, life, and romance and trying to be better-equipped with a more detailed neurodivergent road-map … Kay writing very generously and inspired by her own life, led PanMac (and the wonderful publisher Alex Lloyd) to her, and the result is this empowering and impacting book.

Congratulations to the entire team, everyone involved in this very special book!
