From The Age:
“When universities plough big bucks into a commercial project, it is usually for some whiz-bang drugs, genetics or robotics venture.
But historian Dr Clare Wright has struck gold by persuading La Trobe University, where she works, to invest $200,000 in her proposed TV drama series about the Eureka Stockade.
The funds, which Dr Wright extracted from La Trobe’s Strategic Innovation Fund, will mean a treatment (series outline) and pilot script can be made.”
