Little bit of news from two of the JDM crew – Jacinta & Danielle are off to NEW YORK!

The Australia Council has today announced the delegation of rights sellers, literary agents and publishers to take part in the 2022 New York Publishers’ Program.

The delegation will be the largest in the history of the program, with participants given the opportunity to develop their experience in the North American market, extend their networks and pitch titles to North American editors.

Both Jacinta (as one of the official grant recipients) and Danielle (self-funding under JDM Management) will be going. Jacinta will be taking part on the adult fiction & non-fiction side of things, and Danielle youth literature.

And they might just squeeze in a Broadway show or five while they’re there!
