Congratulations to author Kate Mildenhall, and illustrator Jess Racklyeft for their Indie Book Awards shortlisting of To Stir With Love (Simon & Schuster Australia) in the Children’s category!

This heartfelt collaboration combines food and family to celebrate the magic of grandmothers (and their secret recipes).

Books+Publishing previously reviewed the picture book, saying; ‘Mildenhall sensitively introduces the topic of ageing and how children may feel seeing their loved one forget things … Racklyeft’s illustrations are full of life and colour and integrate collage, including photos of Mildenhall’s own grandmama, on whom the story is based.’
