Looking back at the last couple of months, and JDM would like to congratulate all authors and creators who made the 2021 Notables, and Shortlist – with an especially big WOO-HOO! for We Love You, Magoo by Briony Stewart which won Honours in the Book of the Year: Early Childhood category. And to Kirsty Murray, who along with David Hartley & illustrator Dub Leffler made the Eve Pownall Award for Information Books Honours list with Strangers on Country (which in the week of Father’s Day, was among the fastest movers in Nielsen BookScan sales!)
