Danielle Bink’s The Year the Maps Changed has been shortlisted in the Booksellers’ Choice Awards, for Kids’ Reading Guide Book of the Year!

‘Through a series of annual awards the Australian Booksellers Association celebrates the work of Australian booksellers and the books they love to sell. The annual ABA Bookseller awards recognise the unique role played by booksellers in distributing learning, ideas, and literature to communities and the Booksellers’ Choice awards recognise the Australian new release books our booksellers have selected as their favourite hand-sells.

The ABA Kids’ Reading Guide Booksellers’ Choice – Children’s Book of the Year award recognises the childrens’ new release that booksellers most enjoyed reading, marketing and handselling during the previous year.

We believe it is a special award because it is decided by the people who care enough to personally recommend and put a book in the hands of the reading public.

This award is proudly supported on the membership’s behalf by the Kids’ Reading Guide.’

Congratulations to Danielle!
